How we choose it

We keep a short range of things that stay on the counter, not in a drawer unused. Orders leave Sheridan within 2 business days. If something is wrong, you have 30 days to send it back.

A short range, kept in stock

We carry 13 pieces across 6 categories, between $28.00 and $128.00. Keeping the range short is what lets us hold every piece in stock and replace a single broken plate two years later, which is the thing that decides whether a set stays in use or goes in a box.

Materials

Cast iron and carbon steel for the pans, stoneware and glazed ceramic for the table, machine-made glass for the tumblers, stonewashed linen and yarn-dyed cotton for the textiles. Each is chosen because it takes daily heat, daily washing and the occasional knock against a tap.

Care and wear

Seasoned iron darkens, reactive glaze varies piece to piece and linen softens with every wash. None of those are faults, and we say so on the product page rather than field it as a complaint later. Care instructions are on every listing, not in a leaflet that goes in the recycling.
