Materials
Cast iron with vitreous enamel on both faces and an unglazed rim. Five and a half quarts, four point eight kilograms empty. Safe on every hob including induction, and in the oven to 260°C with the lid on.
Care
Dishwasher safe, though hand washing keeps the exterior gloss longer. Do not heat empty and do not shock it under cold water while hot — enamel chips from thermal shock, not from use. Wooden or silicone tools only.
